The Commission for Women
Welcome to the official website of the Commission for Women in the Diocese of Mangalore. It is one of the 21 pastoral commissions in the diocese of Mangalore. The Commission for Women in the Mangalore Diocese has remained steadfast in its commitment to empowering women and fostering social responsibility through various impactful initiatives. Since its formal establishment in July 2023, the Commission has actively engaged in programs that uplift and strengthen the community. At the helm of this initiative is Reverend Peter Paul Saldanha, the Bishop of Mangalore Diocese, who provides guidance and leadership across all commissions. Mrs. Anita Frank, along with an executive committee of Seven dedicated members, ensures the seamless execution of the Commission’s mission.

By promoting solidarity, justice, and equality, the Commission continues to inspire and transform lives, making a lasting impact on communities across the Mangalore Diocese.
